Event: The Period Party: Garden Party

Client wanted documentation of their annual Period Party, an event for adolescent Black girls entering into young womanhood. The goal was to create a warm and youthful video, one reminiscent of the height and heat of summertime.

Event: Advancing Leaders Forum

Client wanted documentation of the inaugural Advancing Leaders Forum. The Forum gathered humanitarians and forward-thinkers from around the country and, over the course of two days, taught new practices on how to best serve their local communities.

Event: Black Women’s Film Network Conference

Client wanted to create a series of videos highlighting Black women’s contributions to film from a vulnerable viewpoint. Inspired by AspireTV’s slogan “See Yourself Here,” we wanted to create an intimate look at on-screen talent.

Event: Atlanta University Center (AUC) Homecoming

Client wanted documentation of the homecoming celebrations at the AUC (Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, and Morris Brown).

Event: Karma’s World Event

Client wanted a recap of their promotional event celebrating the upcoming launch of Karma’s World, an animated Netflix television series created by rapper Ludacris.

A performance of 70’s poetry found in Sonia Sanchez’s 360 Degrees of Blackness. Sanchez taught evening classes in Harlem and 360 Degrees is a collection of Sanchez’s student’s poetry.
